Description |
Our
client located in Westchester, NY is seeking an Actuarial Analyst.
This position will assist in the construction and maintenance
of models for life insurance lines; create reports and project
expected earnings on life insurance lines; validate models versus
actual experience on a static and dynamic basis; perform sensitivity
analysis on results to changes in key risk factors. This position
will also be the lead in storing and manipulating projection
and actual data in Access database. This opportunity offers
a competitive salary; $55-65K base, bonus, an excellent benefits
package, and 401K. |
| Primary
Responsibilities |
•
Assist in the construction and maintenance of models for life
insurance lines
• Create reports and project expected earnings on life
insurance lines
• Validate models versus actual experience on a static
and dynamic basis
• Perform sensitivity analysis on results to changes in
key risk factors
• Become proficient in the valuation system; code new
contracts on
• Learn to control and manipulate data in access database,
creating control reports and validation reports.
• Help review static and dynamic validations on life blocks
and other exited lines of business Assist with Embedded Value
reporting and Economic Value Management.
• Assist in review and quantification of model changes |
Job
Qualifications |
•
Bachelor’s degree required Accounting, Finance preferably
• 2- 3 years experience with financial modeling
• Requires attention to detail, good organization skills
and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and computer skills (e.g., Excel
and Access) •Ability to work independently and in a team
environment
• Self-motivated individual of high integrity
• 1-3 SOA exams and desire to achieve FSA |
