and brokerage Firm in lower Fairfield County. The Firm is seeking
a Senior Accountant with 4 or more years experience to work
with two other staff accountants responsible for the daily reporting
of the group's proprietary trading operations. The position
offers a very competitive salary, bonuses, profit sharing and
a full benefits package. The Senior Accountant's monthly responsibilities
include, but are not limited to the following. |
| Primary
Responsibilities |
•
Daily reporting of trading profit and loss and cash movement
in 16 countries
• Reconciliation of currency and trading profit and loss
• Reconciliation of cash settlement account balances and
inter-company customer credits
• Direct communication with the operational staff in foreign
offices to ensure accuracy
• Reconciliation of commissions and agency activity

Job
Qualifications |
•
Accounting Degree. CPA a plus
• 4 years experience in a financial services or brokerage
environment
• Excel proficiency required
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials a plus |
