We are currently recruiting for an HR Generalist in Stamford, CT to work closely with the HR Director and growing HR team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for full cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and many other HR initiatives as directed by the HR Director.  This is a great opportunity to work across multiple HR functions within a very successful company.  Compensation package: 70-80K Base + Bonus + Benefits


  • Assist the HR Director in driving the talent strategy including talent acquisition, retention, engagement and development activities
  • Manage full cycle recruiting and talent acquisition process for all positions within the business unit across multiple locations; work closely with managers to develop job descriptions; participate in the interview and selection process, provide coaching and guidance to managers throughout the process
  • Responsible for the onboarding process for all new hires and conducts new hire orientation as well as the offboarding process for employees
  • Serve as first point of contact for company employees’ questions
  • Conduct employee relations investigations under the guidance of the HR Director; advise managers on performance management issues; ensure proper coaching of managers to improve employee performance and engagement
  • Participate and/or lead projects; new initiatives and process improvement; partner with HR Director on the implementation and roll-out of HR programs and processes
  • Assist HR Director in coaching managers through the performance management process; communicating annual performance reviews, giving feedback, corrective action counselling, and handling difficult conversations
  • Support the Talent Development process; assist the HR Director in organizing and/or facilitating targeted training programs for managers and employees


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent experience
  • PHR or SHRM Certified Professional preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources as a Generalist or similar role
  • At least 2 years of experience recruiting in a corporate setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of talent management disciplines (performance management, succession planning, compensation and employee relations)
  • Creative and resourceful thinker, with demonstrated experience understanding business goals and concepts and putting them into action plans
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to establish credibility and rapport with employees at all levels

 Compensation package: 70-80K Base + Bonus + Benefits
