We are currently recruiting for an Operations Associate - Agency Services in White Plains, NY.  This is unique and exciting opportunity to join the team in charge of setting up and running a new US business unit within a large, successful global company.  You will be part of a diverse and highly driven team committed to delivering value added services to clients. The Agency Management Associate will report directly to the New Business Delivery Manager.  60K-70K Base + Bonus + Benefits


  • Facilitate agent and agency appointment paperwork with distribution contacts and/or third party administrators with the use of industry tools and conforming to specific state guidelines
  • Establish, maintain and assess defined agent/agency setup process
  • Initiate and assess agent and principle background results; assemble and sustain guidelines, while making acceptance and refusal decisions; escalate to committee as defined
  • Conduct good order review during agent/agency set up ensuring compliance
  • Advocate for distribution partners and customers within the company by proactively monitoring customer policy activity and taking action to bring them to paid status
  • Embrace data, identifying trends and gaps, establishing action plans to achieve desired/predefined results
  • Develop, maintain and execute auditing process and schedule including call monitoring, voice signature, policy page review, commission statements and consumer feedback log
  • Create and maintain platform and process training material, which will be used internally and externally
  • Participate in testing activities as assigned by the Testing Lead, Operations Analyst, or Project Manager
  • Reconcile vendor invoices against transactions performed
  • Build and cultivate mitigation controls as a byproduct of Compliance and audit standard operating practices
  • Possess a strong knowledge of processes and systems across all front-end functions.


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in agent/agency set up in the insurance sector a plus
  • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments with overlapping delivery dates
  • Customer Service experience
  • Ability to work in a nimble, fast changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
