We are currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst in White Plains, NY to join their growing Finance Team.  The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience within the Insurance / Reinsurance industry managing the change process for the newly implemented Finance system. The role will be part of the Finance Change team and will include working closely with the Finance and IT teams to clearly define requirements and manage the lifecycle of changes through to completion. A primary function of the position is to oversee the evolution of business requirements activities across the Finance portfolio and ensuring that the solutions developed support the Finance department in achieving strategic and tactical objectives. 90K-110K Base + Bonus + Benefits



  • Manage the small change demand management process end to end including change request from; leading requirements gathering, prioritization, capacity planning, status updates (reporting), UAT, sign off / production
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, informational needs and data sources
  • Translate business needs into a clearly defined and detailed business requirements document, inclusive of business use cases, process flows, traceability matrices as well as report mock-ups
  • Ensure that processes are implemented to take full advantage of the capabilities of the systems
  • Plan, facilitate and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings and presentations
  • Plan and facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
  • Maintain regular communication with Finance stakeholders regarding change request activities
  • Focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness of Finance business processes
  • Build strong relationships and foster communication between Finance and IT teams
  • Resolve conflicting priories in scope, schedule and cost for change requests among various stakeholder groups
  • Remove impediments by engaging the right personnel and or finding the right solution



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or IT
  • 3-5+ years’ experience with business and technical requirements analysis
  • Background in Financial Services, Insurance, Reinsurance a must
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with an ability to effectively manage cross-functional team discussions
  • Strong management skills with an ability to achieve results in a matrix management environment
  • Ability to translate business needs into IT deliverables
  • Strong business planning, organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills
  • Multi-disciplinary information technology familiarity with proven systems deployment experience
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (TFS, Visual Studio) is a plus
  • Experience using PPM tools
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP, FS-RI, FS-CD, FI-GL, and SAP-BW 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Lean Six Sigma experience, a plus
