We are currently recruiting for a Senior Vice President, Finance Operations in White Plains, NY. The SVP Head of Finance Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Global Procurement and Global Treasury. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience as well as the ability to take on individual tasks. All candidates must have strong project management experience.  Compensation package: 190K – 210K Base + Bonus + Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of managers in Global Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
  • Develop, shape and articulate the strategy for US operational finance, including liquidity optimization, global banking, credit control and procurement
  • Drive growth and development of the operational finance teams, proactively managing talent and succession planning
  • Support senior business management in strategic planning exercises and other business initiatives
  • Drive process and efficiency improvements across the operational finance teams including, but not limited to, automation of manual processes and the identification and implementation of technology solutions that can be leveraged across the teams
  • Drive the development of operational finance management information reporting, KPIs and dashboards as appropriate
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and internal controls over Treasury operations, ensuring that procedures and related documentation are designed so that internal controls are effective and functioning
  • Contribute to other initiatives that the Group undertakes, including leading the integration activities for the operational finance teams
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Management of ad hoc projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our internal and external customers and our strategic partners

Qualifications: 

  • MBA + 12-15+ years experience in Managing/Supervising a team
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Strong knowledge of internal control framework
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and strong problem solver with solid analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability and confidence to challenge existing procedures and use of systems
  • Ability to work additional hours are required at peak periods
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot-tables, v-lookups and macros
  • Knowledge of SAP, Concur preferred

Compensation package: 190K – 210K Base + Bonus + Benefits
