We are currently recruiting for a VP – Director of Global Audit in the White Plains, NY area. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in Internal Audit driving transformation within a global group while overseeing the quality assurance activities within the internal audit function. In addition, the candidate must have proven leadership skills and have a strong understanding of IIA Audit performance standards. Compensation package: 150-170K Base + up to 30% Bonus + Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a “Quality Assurance Program” and conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure the internal audit work conforms to the IIA audit performance standards, internal audit policies, procedures, guidelines and practices
  • Oversee and coordinate the five-year review of the internal audit function as per the IIA standards
  • Identify and lead best practice improvements within the internal audit function
  • Assess and enhance departmental policies and procedures including audit methodology, work paper requirements, templates and tools
  • Recommend, implement and integrate technology and tools to support the audit execution and delivery, including TeamMate, Power BI, and Sharepoint
  • Manage external regulatory requests for information
  • Prepare the IA budget, which incorporates all budget assumptions and performing cost analysis on a monthly basis
  • Maintain vendor management for the IA department
  • Develop and maintain on-boarding curriculum and supplemental training for audit staff
  • Manage and oversee the Data Analytics team
  • Develop and maintain internal audit management information, including internal KPI’s, for the internal use of the IA team on a weekly basis
  • Develop and maintain various Audit Committee report presentations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in Internal Audit driving transformation within a leadership capacity
  • Strong knowledge of Internal Audit and the IIA Professional Practices Standards
  • Experience with TeamMate+, Alteryx, Power BI preferred
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and effective workload management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills required
  • Strong MS Office skills required
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Additional language(s) desirable
