We are currently recruiting for an AP & Compliance Analyst in Atlanta, GA (Dunwoody / Sandy Springs area). This is a temp / contract position for approx. 6 months reporting to the Controller. Hybrid schedule two days in-office. The Analyst will work on accounts payable and compliance filings along with special projects. $30.00 - $34.00 Hourly Rate
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable, monitoring the payment inbox, requesting W-9 forms, preparing payment requests, facilitating the new supplier onboarding process, and preparing intercompany payment requests
- Prepare and post the AP entries in Oracle General Ledger
- Assist with various Compliance filings
- Assist with external audit requests
- Implement internal controls on related processes, document processes and develop process improvement
- Provide payment, filing and archiving support
- Assist with other ad hoc requests / projects within the Tax and the Compliance teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of experience
- Possess strong technical computer proficiency including skills in Excel, Word and Adobe.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel preferred, including VLookup and Pivot Tables.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be detail and results-oriented with a high degree of accuracy; attentive to detail in producing high quality output.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
