We are currently recruiting for a Brand Ambassador/Outside Sales Rep in the Seattle, Washington area to represent products in Northwest Region Roadshows. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing sales team to promote, sell, and demonstrate premium products (kitchen / cooking related products) at various Costco locations and other retailers. The ideal candidate is strongly motivated by sales results, is enthusiastic, has a passion for cooking, healthier cooking alternatives, can work independently, and loves interacting with people. Traveling within Washington State is required and may be asked to travel out of state on occasion. 40K – 45K Base + OT + commission (estimated total yearly compensation 75K – 85K)
Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal skills, delivering a flawless pitch to drive sales.
- Passionate about food/cooking and excited to share their creations.
- Ability to cook following a recipe and demonstrate their cooking skills.
- Ability to answer customers’ questions and overcome their objections to close the deal.
- Create an energetic and fun event, providing exceptional customer experience.
- Comfortable speaking in front of crowds.
- Achieve consistent sales that meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Set up, break down, and merchandise demo booth/pop-up shop.
- Possess the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Communicate regularly with the management team providing information and feedback.
- Hardworking, organized, flexible, and able to multitask.
- Possess the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must own a reliable car and have a valid drivers license.
Event Schedule/Structure:
A single roadshow is comprised of the following schedule:
- Show set up
- 10 consecutive days of product demonstration and sales
- Show breakdown
- 2 events per month
Experience:
- 1-3 years of sales or retail experience
- Experience with retail events/roadshows preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s License
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated yearly salary $75K to $85K
- Medical/ dental/ vison package / 401K Plan
- Mileage reimbursement when traveling 30+ miles
