We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Plant Recruiter in the Naperville, IL area to join a growing Talent Acquisition team. This position is hybrid on-site 4 days and one day remote after 90 days. Must have experience in TA corporate / plant and manufacturing industry (hourly employees). The Recruiter will be involved in every stage of the recruiting process and work on a variety of roles including production, operations, maintenance and other plant positions. 75K - 95K Base + Quarterly Bonus + Annual Profit Sharing + Benefits Package
Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment for manufacturing plant positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and plant leaders to understand role requirements, workforce needs, production schedule and long-term talent goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR partners to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a high-quality and efficient recruitment process.
- Build and maintain pipelines of top talent for key roles, leveraging internal databases, internal referrals, job boards, social media, and local networks.
- Support employer branding initiatives and promote the company as an employer of choice within the manufacturing industry.
- Stay up to date on labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Track and report recruiting metrics.
- Identify areas of improvement and drive continuous process enhancements.
- Participate in job fairs, community outreach programs, industry events, and other recruiting events to identify potential candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings, with a focus on hourly employees.
- Proven success juggling a variety of roles, competing deadlines and priorities while balancing stakeholders needs.
- Strong sourcing skills, including experience using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in hiring.
